Energy

We are facing increased challenges in supplying adequate electricity for our current demand as we transition away from traditional energy sources toward more electrification. With the abundance of production in the State, there have been times when we needed to buy power from other areas.

Our focus should be on developing more power sources to replace existing production and in anticipation of greater demand on the grid. Our infrastructure is aging and needs to be replaced, as well as providing for the future and a greater electrical load. As we prepare for greater demand on the electrical grid, affordability should be a consideration so lower income individuals are not negatively affected.
