As we commemorate another Memorial Day and honor the sacrifices that were made in order for us to continue to enjoy our freedoms, our hearts are saddened by recent events.
We are very grateful for the countless individuals that were willing to serve and protect this great nation and it is our responsibility to honor that commitment by living lives that uphold the principles they died for.
Today, as we pause and reflect on our history, let us not take for granted those freedoms which were sustained by the service of those who have gone before us. May each of us do our part to build a better and stronger country in their honor.
